Alpha Bank Bulgaria supported an international modern dance project of British Council, which introduced to the audience in Sofia the multitude of the European dance act through abstract dance, physical theater, dancing improvisation and music.
The individual performances during the event are the result of the successful project “Creative Collaborations” of the British Council, which is carried out by the Dance company Heteropodi – Sofia, Greenwich Dance Agency form the UK, the Croatian Institute for Movement and Dance – Zagreb and Full House Promotion – Greece.
The project aims to introduce the diversity of the European art of dance through a series of professional meetings, discussions and performances, constructed on the principle of a joint show. The project works for the creation of cultural exchange opportunities both between individual artists as well as cultural organizations and managers in the four participating cities (London, Sofia, Zagreb and Athens). It is concentrated on the exchange of good practices when solving problems in the development of contemporary stage act, the professional growth and the expression of artists.
In the past few years, Alpha Bank Bulgaria has supported and taken active part in the organization of big exhibitions such as Money Talks and Experience Sofia – 130 Years Capital, which reproduce parts of Bulgarian history in an interactive way. The Bank actively invests in the support of modern art. For a second consecutive year Alpha Bank is the main sponsor of the Museum Gallery for Modern Art, which gives to the Bulgarian audience the unique chance to meet renowned artists and their creations.
