Flag carrier Bulgaria Air is investing 2.0 million levs ($1.3 million/1.0 million euro) in the setting up of a joint catering company with LSG Sky Chefs, a subsidiary of Germany’s Lufthansa, the two airlines said.
“The establishment of Silver Wings is a clear message for change of the airline catering vision and creation of a product which is associated with high quality and internationally recognized work standards,” the two airlines said in a joint statement on Wednesday.
Future investment plans envision a new canteen to serve the airport staff in the security airside area, the statement added.
