Bulgarian Airways Group, majority owner of flag carrier Bulgaria Air, said that it issued a seven-year 15 million levs ($9.3 million/7.7 million euro) bond on January 19.
The unsecured bonds carry a coupon of 3.7% due semi-annually, Bulgarian Airways Group said in a statement on Tuesday.
The issue will be repaid in ten installments of 1.5 million levs each following a two-year grace period.
In 2019, Bulgarian Airways Group placed a seven-year 15 million levs bond issue carrying a coupon of 3.6%.
Bulgarian Airways Group controls 99.99% interest in Bulgaria Air, and majority stakes in five other companies. The company also owns minority stakes in Lufthansa Technik Sofia, Swissport Bulgaria, Silver Wings Bulgaria, and Amadeus Bulgaria.
