Bulgaria’s government said on Wednesday that it has approved the request of Bulstone to transfer its concession contract for the Trebezha limestone deposit to another local company – Predsednik. All other terms of the agreement remain unchanged, the government said in a statement following its weekly meeting. The concession agreement was signed with Bulstone in September 2019 for a 35-year period. The Trebezha deposit is located in Mezdra municipality, in northwestern Bulgaria. Predsednik is owned by three private individuals – Georgi Tsvetkov and Ina Tsvetkova with 40% interest each, and Hristo Tsvetkov with 20% interest, according to commercial register data. Bulstone is fully owned by private individual Mihail Petkov.
