Registrations of new commercial vehicles in Bulgaria fell by an annual 24.1% to 7,295 in 2020, the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association, ACEA, said on Tuesday.
Registrations of new light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes fell by 15.5% year-on-year to 5,060 in 2020, ACEA said in a statement, citing provisional data.
Registrations of new heavy commercial vehicles of over 16 tonnes declined 35.9% to 1,978 in the review period.
New commercial vehicle registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, fell by 18.9% to some 1.7 million in 2020. In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, registrations were 22.5% lower at 201,585.
