Coronavirus cases in Bulgaria rise to 581, death toll increases to 23

Bulgaria’s health ministry said on Wednesday that the cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the country rose to 581, while the death toll increased to 23 people.
The number of recoveries remained unchanged at 42, the ministry said in a statement.
A total of 213 of the patients are hospitalised, of which 21 are in intensive care.
The first coronavirus case in Bulgaria was detected on March 8. Bulgaria is currently in a state of emergency due to the virus.
