Bulgaria’s health ministry said on Thursday that the cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the country rose to 611, while the death toll increased to 24 people. The number of people who recovered from the disease increased to 48, the ministry said in a statement. A total of 233 of the patients are hospitalised, of which 27 are in intensive care. The first coronavirus case in Bulgaria was detected on March 8. Bulgaria is currently in a state of emergency due to the virus.
