As a result, as of the same date Germanos Telecom Bulgaria EAD ceased to exist and all company assets and liabilities were transferred to GLOBUL.

The merger was announced back in 2013, immediately after Telenor Group acquired GLOBUL, as part of the development plan for the operator, and the process was initiated soon after that.

The merger will not affect in any way the current operations of the GERMANOS shops in the country, no shops will be closed and there will be no lay-offs of GERMANOS employees.

All existing shops will continue to operate under the GERMANOS trade mark until the planned rebranding of GLOBUL to Telenor in the near future. As before, these shops will continue to offer all GLOBUL products and services as well as a wide variety of technological products by leading global manufacturers and brands and with the well-known high quality customer service.

All current GERMANOS employees will be transferred to GLOBUL with immediate effect and will keep their responsibilities, remuneration and benefits and GLOBUL will take over all existing contractual obligations of GERMANOS.
