GLOBUL donated BGN 10,000 to the Kids with Developmental Problems Foundation in order to support financially the Kids with Developmental Problems Medical Center. The funds were collected during the Green Christmas Festival supported by GLOBUL and held in Sofia until the beginning of this year.
All those who attended the Green Christmas Town had the chance to buy operator’s products or charity articles, while GLOBUL doubled all funds collected during the festival. Moreover, thousands of GLOBUL subscribers also supported the cause by donating funds in the special boxes of the Kids with Developmental Problems Foundation, placed in 20 GLOBUL stores across the country.
The Kids with Developmental Problems Foundation was established in 2006 by parents of kids with cerebral palsy, autism, Down syndrome, etc. The Foundation is aimed at supporting families with kids who need special care, increasing the awareness of their rights and chances for receiving social support, as well as providing early diagnosis, rehabilitation and training to the children with developmental problems with regard to their quality of life and social integration.
