Over 60,000 GLOBUL clients have subscribed for the GLOBUL GARANT service and many of them had it activated on more than one SIM card. The unique GLOBUL GARANT service allows users to avoid unpaid monthly bills to the operator in case of adverse life situations.
GLOBUL GARANT, which was launched in September 2010 and still has no analogue on the Bulgarian market, allows clients to continue using GLOBUL mobile and fixed services even when they are unable to pay their monthly bills due to sickness, accidents, unemployment and prolonged hospital stay. The service guarantees payment of up to 12 monthly bills. GLOBUL GARANT users are also protected from fraudulent use if their SIM-card gets stolen.
So far, GLOBUL GARANT clients used the service coverage mostly in cases of prolonged illness and involuntary unemployment. In such cases, users get financial cover of six average monthly bills of up to BGN 100 each. The third most common covered risk is the unauthorized usage of a stolen SIM-card when the service guarantees payment of up to BGN 100 for all services used within 24 hours after theft and before GLOBUL was notified to block the SIM-card.
GLOBUL GARANT is available to new and existing residential subscribers for up to three SIM-cards at monthly fee of BGN 2.50 per SIM-card, payable with the monthly bill. The service is offered at all GLOBUL and GERMANOS shops.
