At an official ceremony today GLOBUL and GERMANOS will welcome the participants in this year’s Scholarship Program who were selected among over 150 applicants from across the country.
The new scholars are Margarita Mihkova, Peter Karadzhinov and Svetoslav Dimitrov from the Technical University of Sofia, Stella Gavrilova and Victor Minchev from St. Kliment Ohridski Sofia University, Elena Stankova and Simona Velinova from the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) and Diana Dimitrova from the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy (UACEG).
The eight talented students will receive a monthly scholarship until obtaining their Bachelor Degrees. They will also have the opportunity to gain practical experience and participate in various projects under the supervision of a personal tutor in the following GLOBUL & GERMANOS divisions: Products and Services, Strategic Finance, Legal Affairs, Network Implementation, Operation & Maintenance, Radio & Transmission, Switching & Services. During the summer, scholars will participate in the two companies’ Traineeship Program as well.
GLOBUL Scholarship Program was launched in 2005 and has been held together with GERMANOS over the last few years. The initiative aims to provide financial support and a chance for an early career development to young talents. So far, over 40 students have participated in the program and many of them have joined the two companies’ team.
