As part of the GLOBUL Hour initiative, company’s professionals will hold a series of lectures and trainings for students from the Technical University of Sofia during the 2011/2012 academic year.
The topics of the trainings will be related to the lectures, and will give students a chance to enrich their academic knowledge, to get acquainted with the everyday work in the GLOBUL Network Management Center, as well as to see various types of telecommunications equipment and meet company’s high-qualified professionals.
The long-term GLOBUL Hour initiative is part of the operator’s partnership with Bulgarian universities aimed at enriching students’ professional experience, encouraging their future career development, and providing young people with the opportunity to gain practical skills in a real business environment.
This year’s initiative was launched with a series of lectures and trainings, held in April and May, 2011. At that time nearly 100 students from the TU-Sofia participated in the initiative. During the trainings, which took place in the GLOBUL Network Management Center, students were allowed to work with test modules from the operator’s network.
