Globul Launches Its Tenth Traineeship Program

GLOBUL and GERMANOS launch their summer Traineeship Program, which is held for a tenth year in a row. The program was opened today with an official ceremony in front of the company’s Headquarter in Business Park Sofia.

This year GLOBUL and GERMANOS will welcome 60 students from leading Bulgarian universities such as Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, Technical University – Sofia, University of National and World Economy, New Bulgarian University, American University in Bulgaria, etc.
The interns will join the teams of 18 GLOBUL & GERMANOS divisions, among which are Advertising & Communication, Corporate Sales, Legal Affairs, Products & Services, Customer Care, Human Resources and Administration, Corporate Responsibility, Procurement and Logistics, Network Implementation, and others.
The two-month traineeship is paid. The participants in the program will undergo presentation skills training and induction training which aims to provide information about the company’s structure, the main functions of its departments, and its corporate culture, mission and values. During the internship, students will have the opportunity to acquire practical skills and develop their own projects under the guidance of personal tutors.

The popular Bulgarian singers Angel and Moisey were among the guests of the event. They performed some of their most famous hits and wished interns success in their future career.
So far nearly 300 students from Bulgarian and foreign universities took part in the Traineeship Program of GLOBUL and GERMANOS, as 30% of them later joined the company’s team. Most of the interns are interested in technical and economic subjects, and prefer to train in divisions such as Finance, Advertising &Communication, Information Technology, Radio and Transmission, Law, etc. Since the start of the program in 2004, GLOBUL has invested nearly half a million leva in the development of its internship program and the support of young people in Bulgaria.
