GLOBUL published the first Bulgarian corporate responsibility report prepared according to the standards of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). With the launch of this report, the company presents transparent, exhaustive and easily accessible information and once again proves to be a leader in the sustainable development field in the country.

The report covers all GLOBUL’s corporate responsibility activities in 2010 and presents detailed data on their results. The report is structured following the four main fields of corporate responsibility, namely the environment, society, employees and the market. In its 2010 report, GLOBUL clearly states its long-term engagement with sustainable development and sets specific goals in all four areas to be achieved in 2011.

GLOBUL’s first corporate responsibility report was developed together with the consultants from denkstatt Bulgaria and earned a B level of reporting according to GRI standards. This level indicates that the company described its management approach towards all significant aspects of its activities and presented detailed data on more than 20 key indicators.

GLOBUL plans to annually publish its corporate responsibility report so that all who are interested could be informed about the way GLOBUL contributes to Bulgaria’s sustainable development.
