GLOBUL will hold series of lectures and presentations for students from the Technical University of Sofia and Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski which will continue until mid- March, 2013. The GLOBUL Hour educational initiative is one of the most successful operator’s youth programs, which aims to support the practical training of young people and to guide them in their future career.
As part of this year’s initiative, GLOBUL specialists already presented a few lectures to the students from the Faculty of Telecommunications, the Faculty of Automatics and the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Informatics at the Technical University – Sofia. The next lecture there will take place on April 3 and will be dedicated to the evolution and development of mobile switching. GLOBUL will also organize presentations in the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics at Sofia University on April 16 and 23, 2013.
Lectures within the 2013 GLOBUL Hour initiative will continue until May 15, inclusive. The last lecture will be presented in the Technical University by Yordan Bakalov, Head of Services Platform Section at GLOBUL. He will explain to students the technical implementation of SMS and MMS messages and how they are used for value-added services.
The GLOBUL Hour lectures are related to the main aspects of construction, maintenance and management of telecommunication infrastructure and network technologies. During the lectures, students will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the daily work of telecommunications professionals and to learn about the latest technology trends.
