GLOBUL will support this year’s edition of Kamenitza Fan Cup – the biggest football tournament for amateurs in Bulgaria, which is held for the eleventh consecutive year with the aim to bring together football fans and to promote the sport in the country. Each year the national tournament gathers thousands of fans who have the chance to support their favorite teams, and to personally meet with the stars of Bulgarian football.
Kamenitza Fan Cup 2013 will kick off in the end of April and will continue until the end of August, when the Final of the tournament will take place. The semifinal games will be held in over 12 cities across the country, including Sofia, Plovdiv, Burgas, Razgrad, Veliko Tarnovo, etc.
The 11th edition of Kamenitza Fan Cup will be launched with an official press conference which will be held in Sofia on April 2, 2013. The event will be attended by the Bulgarian sports legends Borislav Mihaylov, Stefka Kostadinova and Yordan Lechkov. GLOBUL Corporate Affairs Director Mr. Yassen Guev will also join the event on behalf of the company.
As part of its support for the tournament, GLOBUL will provide a special prize for the football fans. One of them will win a ticket for a Manchester United game, with travel and accommodation included in the prize. Moreover, the company will organize series of promotional activities and games for all football fans and guests of Kamenitza Fan Cup. They will have the opportunity to win original fan merchandize of the Red Devils, as well as other prizes from GLOBUL.
The partnership between GLOBUL and Kamenitza Fan Cup dates back to 2012, when the company supported the tenth anniversary edition of the football tournament and awarded one of the participants with a trip to Old Trafford.
