The International Hellenic University, the only English-speaking State University in Greece, commences its Executive MBA programme for the fifth year. During the previous four years, students from various countries have had the opportunity to attend a high quality postgraduate programme. The international academic team is comprised of top-class professors from leading European Business Schools and Greek Universities.
In a modern multi-cultural environment in Thermi, Thessaloniki, students have the opportunity to improve their management skills and knowledge working with colleagues from other countries. This international and diverse student and faculty community provides the students with a valuable network of contacts for their future career.
The participants in the Executive MBA are mostly members of managerial staff from Balkan and Greek companies, many of whom are supported financially by their organisations.
A part of the training programme for the Executive MBA is the Field Trip, which provides participants with the opportunity to explore business practices in their respective countries at first-hand. As a contribution to the community, the University asks students to undertake consultancy projects for Non-Governmental Organisations. The students are required to integrate theory with practical application within diverse environments, thus gaining hands-on experience of applying some of the tools and knowledge gained in the classroom..
Students also participate in a series of professional development and integrating seminars.
The next Executive MBA programme commences on 27 January 2012. Participants follow courses over a three-day weekend each month (Friday-Sunday) for 24 months.
Admissions are currently still open to applicants. Further information is available on the University’s website at www.econ.ihu.edu.gr
