The hotel shares with Bansko the triumph of being “Bulgaria’s Best Ski Resort” for 2017 by World Ski Awards
Bansko, 20 November 2017 – Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena Bansko has been crowned as “Bulgaria’s Best Ski Hotel” at the annual World Ski Awards 2017. The hotel received its first award in this category already in the first year of the launching of the programme in 2013, and then consecutively in 2014 and 2015. Two months earlier the hotel received another precious international award – more precisely, “Bulgaria’s Leading Hotel 2017” by World Travel Awards.
The World Ski Awards gala ceremony this year took place on Saturday, 18 November at A-Rosa Kitzbühel in Austria as part of a three-day programme of entertaining events and activities. More than 200 leading ski tourism experts, professionals and market leaders from all over the world were present at the most awaited evening in the international ski industry.
The General Manager of Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena Bansko, Natalia Kashirskaya, was also present among the VIP guests and had the honour of getting on stage to personally receive the trophy on behalf of the hotel. “I am extremely proud to have the honour of accepting this valuable award,” commented Ms Kashirskaya. “I would like to thank all our voters for their loyalty and recognition and the team for their efforts in delivering an exceptional experience to our guests. This year we have a double occasion for celebration as Bansko has been awarded as “Bulgaria’s Best Ski Resort” for a fifth consecutive year as well. Both the hotel and the destination itself have indeed a lot to offer, and we are extremely happy that our customers value us as leaders on the Bulgarian market. These valuable accolades perfectly serve our aim of spreading awareness of the hotel and the destination for the attention of the international luxury ski traveller.”
Votes were cast online by leading ski tourism professionals worldwide, as well as thousands of luxury travel consumers. The complete list of the winners is featured at www.worldskiawards.com/winners/2017
