Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena Bansko supported various social causes this April. Yesterday, the hotel invited the children from the local centre for children with multiple disabilities, Zdravets, for a fun day of entertaining activities. In the afternoon, the management team welcomed the little guests with a delicious lunch buffet at Bella Vista Bar & Lounge, full of appetising snacks, tasty desserts, fresh fruits and juices. Afterwards, some of the kids enjoyed the indoor swimming pool and the bubbly Jacuzzi at the hotel spa centre, while the others played games at the Kids’ Club. Everyone seemed to be having a great time under the care and supervision of the hotel staff. At the end of the exciting day, the kids surprised General Manager Athanassios Manos with a specially designed, handmade wreath to thank him for the enjoyable experience, which has become a yearly tradition.
A week earlier, the hotel undertook another local charity initiative. In one day, the management team visited the hospital in the nearby town of Razlog and made a donation of bed linens to the maternity and children’s wards. On the same day, the hotel managers also stopped by Draglishte Village and donated bedding to the home for the elderly, St Pantaleimon.
On occasion of the noble causes, General Manager Mr Athanassios Manos commented, “Social responsibility events are a vital part of our yearly activities calendar. We are strongly committed to supporting the local community and I hope that our initiatives will serve as an example to inspire more people to undertake goodwill causes. We keep our tradition to help the local nursing homes and the children’s centre, and we will also not stop looking further to expand our social responsibility campaigns with new opportunities.”
