As per tradition, just a day before the start of the school year, Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena Bansko organised a fun day of games and surprises for its employees’ children. The annual Children Staff Party took place this Sunday, 14 September, on the terrace of Bella Vista Bar & Lounge. More than 40 kids of all ages joined the party and played joyfully together. In attendance, a seven-month-old baby was the littlest member of the Kempinski family, which gets bigger and bigger every year. Happy parents took time to spend the last day of the summer vacation together with their children and to participate in various interesting activities with them.
The party started early in the afternoon when all the kids received a gift – a colourful little bucket filled with delicious sugary treats. The idea was that all the kids, with the help of their parents, had to plant a seed inside the bucket and take it home as a memory of this advantageous day.
The afternoon continued with interesting games at the Kids Club. As every year, the hotel’s chefs surprised the little ones with a variety of tasty snacks, fresh juices and cake decorated for the kids. All participants, big and small, seemed to have a wonderful time and afterwards, went home happy and satisfied.
The General Manager Athanassios Manos personally attended the party to share the joyful moment with the children. “Today was indeed a very special day for everyone,” said Mr Manos. “I myself am a parent and I believe it is extremely important to give our children a peaceful and happy environment in which to grow and develop, as well as to inspire key human values within them. The idea of planting flowers today was to encourage our kids to appreciate nature and to take care of other living beings. The Children Staff Party is our tradition and we will continue organising it in the future as there is no bigger joy in the world than making our children happy.”
