From 28 October to 1 November inclusive, Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena Bansko will present a new gourmet menu in its Mediterranean restaurant Come Prima. Guests will have the opportunity to savour a selection of gourmet dishes prepared by special guest chef Axel Rüdlin, who arrived a few days ago from the hotel’s sister property Kempinski Grand Hotel Des Bains in the ski resort of St Moritz in Switzerland.

A German national, Axel Rüdlin has more than 17 years of experience in gastronomy, working in different restaurants throughout Germany and Switzerland. At present, he holds the position of executive chef at Kempinski Grand Hotel des Bains St Moritz. The chef is in charge of five different outlets, including Restaurant Les Saisons, Enoteca, Sra Bua, Lobby Bar and the Michelin-star restaurant Ca d’Oro. All the restaurants have been awarded with 46 Gault Milleu points in total.

Chef Rüdlin will demonstrate his master skills in preparing a true gourmet menu at the open kitchen of Come Prima Restaurant. The diverse menu includes a variety of different tastes from Arctic char, Hoyden “Scampi” and veal sirloin to the world’s most expensive ingredient – white Alba truffles. Chef Rüdlin’s has also specially created an irresistible dessert with flavourful mixture of pineapple, basil and chocolate.

Chef Rüdlin commented, “I am extremely happy to be here and to have the pleasure of working with this talented team. This is my first visit in Bulgaria but for sure I will come again. I hope that the guests will enjoy my menu, which represents a journey through the flavours of the different restaurants we have in the hotel in St Moritz.”

The exceptional and lavish menu is without a doubt worth its price. Come Prima Restaurant invites gourmands to taste the unique Michelin menu every day from 12:30 to 23:00h.
