In 2010 the Hellenic Business Council in Bulgaria will support the Greek stand at the Annual Charity Bazaar organized by the International Women’s Club (IWC) in Sofia (www.iwc-sofia.com). HBCB will aim to give a modern and elegant look of the Greek stand, showing the best of the Greek traditions and culture. Let’s build together the most beautiful and successful stand!

This year the 16 Annual Charity Bazaar will take place from 11:30 am until 5:00 pm on Sunday, December 5, at the Inter Expo Centre, Sofia.
The Annual Charity Bazaar offers an opportunity for different countries to proudly showcase their handmade crafts, music, souvenirs, folklore, national cuisine, clothing and literature. The Bazaar is the result of 100% volunteer efforts and the generosity of local and international businesses. The money raised from last year’s Bazaar totaled BGN 309,520.
About the Charity Foundation of the International Women’s Club in Sofia
The Charity Foundation of the IWC aims to assist Bulgarian groups and institutions to more effectively meet the needs of the most marginalized populations in the country, especially women, the elderly, children living in orphanages and homes for the mentally and physically disabled and ethnic minorities. The Charity Foundation offers this assistance by funding projects that contribute to longer term impact through educational, training and social integration programs, in addition to providing emergency level assistance to those target populations.
