Yesterday in one of the big conference room of Sheraton Sofia Hotel Balkan, the Hellenic Business Council in Bulgaria organized an open workshop on presentation skills.
HBCB invited one of the best well-known and recognized trainers in the field – Mrs. Nadejda Savova. The workshop was attended by more than 170 managers. Participants learned modern presentation skills, including meaning, structure, rules, and means of influence. The lector convinced the audience that the most important observation is that the objective of communication is not the transimission but the reception. The whole preparation, presentation and content of a speech must therefore be geared not to the speaker but to the audience. The objective of communication is to make our message understood and remembered.
Nadejda stressed tips to prepare, write, rehearse and deliver a presentation in order to make it successful and memorable and stage it with confidence. She explained that good presentation is about story, not only argumentation. According to her presentation should be a symphony, not only focus, an empathy, not only logic, a play, not only seriousness, a design, not only function. Finally, the presentation should be Meaning and Passion!
The interactive workshop received positive feedback and HBCB will continue to provide value-added services to all its members.
HBCB greatly appreciates the kind support of Germanos, Eko Bulgaria, Alpha Bank, Globul and UBB.
