Over 120 young football players trained with professional coaches from Manchester United Soccer Schools at the second camp GLOBUL holds as part of its relationship with the legendary English club.
The one-week initiative took place in Sofia with more than 100 kids from Sofia, Varna, Plovdiv, Shumen and Kardzhali participating, as well as 20 underprivileged young people who will represent Bulgaria at the Homeless World Cup in Poland. All of them took part in a one-day football course which included both practical and theoretical sessions. In addition, the young talents received medals, certificates and gifts from GLOBUL.
Participation in the camp was awarded to the top three teams in the 2012/2013 National Football Tournaments for boys in the 5-7 and 8-10 grade age groups.
In addition to the school children, Bulgaria’s national football men and women teams for homeless people also participated in the training camp as part of GLOBUL’s support for the Homeless World Cup Bulgaria initiative, organized by Sports Management Bulgaria.
