Bansko, 16 February 2015: The official opening of the painting exhibition “The Colours of Bansko” was held on Friday, 13 February. Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena Bansko in co-operation with the programme “Made in Bansko” organised the exhibition by Bulgarian artist Anastas Kamburov. Mr Kambourov is among the most prominent representatives of contemporary Bulgarian art. The artist has multiple successful exhibits in Morocco, USA, France and Macedonia, and private galleries in Switzerland, Paris and Philadelphia hold some of his paintings. Here, the artist presents 31 pictures, half of which were created especially for the current exhibition in the hotel.

The cocktail party began at 18:00pm at Bella Vista Bar & Lounge and was attended not only by hotel guests, but also by art connoisseurs that came all the way to honour the artist, who celebrated his birthday just a day before.

“We are delighted to be a part of this exceptional art project, which is another step forward in the promotion of Bansko as both a ski and cultural destination. I would like to thank Anastas Kamburov, whose magnificent art brings spirit to our sometimes-spiritless life. Moreover, his paintings perfectly complement the atmosphere here at the hotel and create a feeling of warmth and harmony. We would gladly host other cultural events in the future as well,” commented General Manager Athanassios Manos.

All art lovers willing to enjoy the exhibition or to buy some of the artist’s fine creations are welcome to Bella Vista Bar & Lounge until 1 March.
