Piraeus Bank Bulgaria will participate in National Career Days forum for seventh year in a row. The professional forum for student’s internships and career organized by JobTiger will be held on March 12 and 13 in Sofia. The Bank will present its Traineeship Program, which offers excellent opportunity for gaining professional experience through practice, learning the basics of corporate behavior and introduction to business etiquette as well as a chance for permanent job position for the best performers.
The annual participation of Piraeus Bank Bulgaria in National Career Days is part of the policy of the Bank for successful development of its Human Resources practices and utilization of traineeship programs financed under EU funding. In 2012 Piraeus Bank team met and interviewed 800 students during the forum. Part of the best performers participated in established in 2012 traineeship program of Piraeus Bank and Piraeus Leasing Bulgaria New Beginning, which was fully financed for the first year by European Social Fund. The program provided 6 months paid training for 44 students on labor contract under the supervision of a specially selected mentor. After successful finish of the program 11 trainees were hired in Piraeus Bank Bulgaria and 5 in Piraeus Leasing.
During the last 6 years within the frames of the Traineeship Program of Piraeus Bank Bulgaria were hired 230 trainees and 65 of them became part of Bank`s team.
