Postbank is again the best custody bank for foreign and local institutional clients in Bulgaria

Postbank was declared for a consecutive year best bank in Bulgaria offering custody services to foreign and local institutional investors in Global Custodian magazine’s annual overview of the market. In the publication’s ranking for developing markets for 2011, Postbank received the highest numerical scores for the services it offers in both categories – 6.17 for Cross Border/Non-Affiliated and a total of 6.38 for Domestic, and respectively “Best in Class” rating for all sub-categories, including Value and Commitment, Client Service, Settlement, Corporate Actions, etc.

Global Custodian states that foreign and domestic clients of Postbank express content with the received services, quoting a domestic client: „Overall the finest custodian bank I have worked so far with in the Bulgarian market”. Scoring by clients remains excellent despite challenges and change back in Greece. “Very motivated team, offering high-level services. It is pleasure to work with” are among the published quotes from clients.

Eurobank EFG Group, which Postbank belongs to, was awarded the a “Top Rated” status for offering custody services to foreign institutional investors in all markets in the region where it operates – Bulgaria, Romania, Greece and Cyprus.
