Sofia Airport Center (SAC) has received an award at the international SEE Green Building Awards, which took place on 16th May, in Bucharest, Romania. The developed and managed by Tishman International Companies business complex, has been recognized as one of the sustainable developments in the SEE region which have contributed most to the development of the market. The contest’s jury included 25 established international experts in the field of construction, real estate and finance. The competition is organized for the eighth consecutive year by Europaproperty.com – specialized media for real estate markets and related business.

Sofia Airport Center is the only LEED certified business development in Bulgaria and it has already been recognized as one of the most successful and sustainable projects in the country. The complex was awarded best in the Building of the Year 2012 contest in 2 categories: "Public Buildings with Business Functions" and "Green Buildings". SAC has also received a prestigious Prix d’Excellence Awards – Bulgaria 2013, given by the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI).
SAC consists of 180 000 sq. m. of class A office space and 28,000 sq. m. of prime logistics and warehouse space. The site is an outdoor showcase, providing 5,000 square-meter park environment of lush landscaping and open recreational space, which includes walking trails and a central lake. Inside, a winter garden, with seating, offers water features within an atrium environment.
