UniCredit Consumer Financing and Technopolis hypermarkets launch a joint charity campaign. For each consumer loan of UniCredit Consumer Financing granted in the chain of hypermarkets Technopolis each of the two companies will donate 1 BGN for the children from SOS Children’s Villages Bulgaria.

The charity initiative will continue until May 6, and the two companies explained that they have chosen the period of spring holidays (Palm Sunday, Easter and Saint George’s Day), because buyers are most active on these days.

“Traditionally, during the Easter season we see a boom in demand for cameras and bread machines. We expect 20% higher turnover compared to the previous period of the year. These buys will bring along smiles not only for the buyers of the new product but also to the children from the SOS villages”, said Bozhidar Kolev, Managing Director of Technopolis Bulgaria. “We join in and will be very happy to support the noble cause of our partners from UniCredit Consumer Financing, who initiated the campaign”, Kolev added.

This is the second such initiative of UniCredit Consumer Financing. With its campaign in December last year the company was among the most generous donors of SOS Children’s villages Bulgaria for 2010.

“We hope with the help of our clients to manage to donate to the children from SOS Children’s villages Bulgaria belief and hope that they are not alone and that we all care about them!”, said Pierre-Yves Guegan, Executive Director of UniCredit Consumer Financing.

SOS Children’s villages, supported by its friends and donors for 20 years now takes care of children deprived of parental care and children at risk of losing their family environment.
