United Bulgarian Bank (UBB) has signed a two-year sponsorship agreement with Bulgaria’s national biathlon team, committing to extend BGN 70,000 to finance the participation of the country’s athletes in the remaining events of the current and next season.
The agreement was signed by Ekaterina Dafovska, head of the Bulgarian biathlon federation, and UBB’s PR and sponsorship manager Lyudmil Karavassilev.
“During the current and next season, we will work together for the success of the biathlon and I hope our efforts will be crowned with medals,” Dafovska said.
Bulgaria’s national team will take part in the upcoming European Championships in Ridnaun, Italy, which will run between February 20 and 27, as well as in the World Cup biathlon event in Russia’s Khanty-Mansiysk in March.
