We at the Hellenic Business Council in Bulgaria (HBCB) would like to congratulate Mr. Prodromos Mavropoulos on his recent acquisition of the historic Allatini Mills property in Thessaloniki.
Mr. Mavropoulos, who has served as General Secretary of the HBCB for three consecutive terms, is now envisioning a transformative project for the Allatini Mills, aiming to create a new landmark for the city, with innovative and environmentally friendly solutions.
Mr. Mavropoulos’s investment strategy involves a holistic and unified development of the site, avoiding fragmentation into individual properties for sale, with a total investment expected to exceed 50 million euros. His extensive experience in the real estate sector, particularly in Bulgaria, where his companies manage and develop high-standard office complexes and retail centers, will undoubtedly contribute to the success of this ambitious project.
The Allatini Mills complex, a significant example of industrial architecture, spans an area of 27.8 hectares and includes several preserved and non-preserved buildings. Mavropoulos’s comprehensive and sustainable approach aims to revive this historic site, enhancing Thessaloniki’s urban landscape and contributing to the city’s development.
