Bulgaria’s new passenger car registrations fall 36.8% in 2020 – ACEA

New passenger car registrations in Bulgaria decreased by 36.8% to 22,368 in 2020, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association, ACEA, said on Tuesday, citing provisional figures.

In December alone, new passenger car registrations in Bulgaria declined by an annual 40.3% to 1,707, ACEA said in a press release.

New passenger car registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, fell by 23.7% on the year to 9.94 million in 2020

In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, new passenger car registrations were 23% lower year-on-year at some 1.16 million.
