Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias is visiting Brussels on Monday to participate in the EU Foreign Affairs Council. The Foreign Ministers are expected to discuss current issues, including Turkey’s issue, in view of the forthcoming European Council, the situation in Lebanon, China and Russia.
The Foreign Ministers’ talks will also focus on recent developments in Libya and Belarus and EU-African Union relations, while during the working lunch, the future partnership with the Southern Neighborhood will be discussed.
On the sidelines of the Council, the Foreign Minister will meet with Miroslav Lajčák, EU Special Representative for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue and other regional issues in the Western Balkans, while the Council will be preceded by an informal breakfast hosted by the EU High Representative Josep Borrell with the participation of the leader of the Belarus opposition.
