After one-week consideration of the candidacies for the second Forbes Bulgaria Business Awards competition, the independent high profile jury of business community representatives made its decision about the finalists in the competition. Five companies are nominated in each of the seven corporate categories and three participants in the individual category Employee of the Year.
The list of finalists is published on http://forbesbulgaria.bg/. Standing out among them are both large companies with hundreds of millions of turnover and small but innovative businesses with great growth potential. The winners will be announced at the official ceremony next Tuesday, December 4, 2012, at Sheraton Hotel, Sofia. The event will be attended by representatives of the business community, including the competing companies, jury members and journalists.
Forbes Bulgaria Business Awards candidacies are assessed individually by each jury member according to an established Forbes methodology, and rating is made in a transparent procedure within the 10-member jury, which guarantees the authenticity of the final result. This year a total of 99 applications were filed for participation in the prestigious Awards. The most challenging competition was in the Community Involvement category, with 18 applications for participation filed.
