ECOPACK was established in 2004 as a profit-not-for-distribution joint stock company by 18 of the biggest multinational and local companies. ECOPACK is the market leader since its establishment with over 1300 members.

Our main achievements for the period 2004 – 2014 are as follows:

Improvement of existing and creation of new services for our clients in the following areas:
Collection and transportation of packaging waste from production and logistic plants;
Consultations, seminars and trainings on reporting and legal compliance;
Support for member’s corporate and social responsibility programs ;

Main supplier for the recycling industry with over 50% share;
Investments of over 18 million BGN in separate collection systems:
12 separating lines, over 17 000 3-colored containers, covered population of 2.87 million people in 70 municipalities.
Organized over 11 national and over 100 local information-educational campaigns:
Main partner of “Let’s clean Bulgaria!”, part of the “Let’s Clean the World!” campaign in 2012, 2013 and 2014;
3D Eco bus campaign -over 80 000 kids from 1st to 4th grade in more than 430 schools trained;

Received prestigious awards in the area of environmental care:
Investor in the Environment award of the BBLF (2014);
Second place at ISWA (International Solid Waste Association) Communication awards among 48 candidates from 27 countries in 4 continents (2013);
CSR award of Economy magazine (2013);
GEPARD award of Money newspaper for most dynamic company (2008), etc.

The only Bulgarian organization member of PRO Europe and co-founder of EXPRA.
