“Sports Panorama Alpha Bank”, which started on May 28 in Sofia in Borissova Garden next to Ariana pond attracted more than 13 000 citizens of Sofia, who preferred to do sports during the weekend. Deputy Mayor of Sofia Minko Gerdzikov, Mr. Philip Petrou – country manager of Alpha Bank Bulgaria Branch and former national volleyball Lubo Ganev launched officially the tour of Sports Panorama in Bulgaria.
Mainly young people participated in the event and competed in the sports presented – football, climbing, basketball, cycling, bungee trampoline, bowling, fussball, children bungy trampoline, Play station 3. One of the most preferred and emotional competitions was the NASA test simulator as well as the cycling. The most active participants, who made through eight of the sports facilities, received awards.
The idea of “Sports Panorama Alpha Bank” was born after the official sponsorship of Alpha Bank to the XXVIII summer Olympic Games in Athens. The goal of “Sports Panorama Alpha Bank” is, by means of entertainment, to make sports games and the spirit they bring popular.
The event continues in the cities Russe, Varna, and Stara Zagora. Days of participation remain the same – Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and hours of participation are: Friday from 19:00 to 22:00, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 14:00 h and from 18:00 to 22:00 h
