The Hellenic Business Council in Bulgaria (HBCB) would like to inform its members and partners about an upcoming high-level regional initiative focused on strengthening economic and institutional cooperation between Greece and Romania.
The event, titled “Strategic Balkan Outward & Regional Cooperation: Bilateral Cooperation Greece–Romania”, will take place on 25–26 May 2026 in Bucharest, hosted at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bucharest.
The forum will bring together representatives from the business community, institutional bodies, regional authorities, and academic institutions from both countries, offering a platform for dialogue, networking, and exploration of new partnership opportunities.
Key Highlights of the Programme
The agenda includes a series of thematic round tables and networking sessions, covering:
- Entrepreneurship, Shipping, Logistics & Tourism, with participation from business associations, trade organizations, and port authorities
- Regional Governance, featuring regional and local government representatives from Greece and Romania
- Academic Cooperation, involving leading universities and research institutions
In addition, participants will have the opportunity to engage in B2B meetings and networking sessions, as well as attend an official networking event hosted by the Embassy of the Hellenic Republic in Bucharest.
On the second day, the programme continues with dedicated meetings between Greek and Romanian business representatives, further supporting cross-border cooperation and exchange.
