Students of the Technical University of Sofia developed and presented projects for implementing innovative green technologies in GLOBUL as part of the Green Future forum, organized by the university’s career center.
The young people had two topics to work on: Energy Efficiency in GLOBUL Store Chain and The Phone Creates/Saves. A total of 23 participants were divided into seven teams of two, three or four people. Each team developed a project based on one of the two topics under the mentorship of GLOBUL corporate responsibility consultants, denkstatt Bulgaria.
The winners in each category will be announced at an official ceremony tomorrow. GLOBUL will award the two winning teams with smartphones GLOBUL Move SE, and students ranked second will receive GLOBUL GoWeb 500 prepaid data packs. The best projects will be implemented in the relevant aspects of the company’s operations.
GLOBUL’s participation in the Green Future forum is a step further in the company’s long-term cooperation with the Technical University of Sofia and the university’s career center, and also a part of its support for young talents and the GLOBUL Green environmental sustainability strategy. The green event was held for the first time and its aim was to promote technologies that help protect the environment and enhance quality of life. During the forum, GLOBUL Corporate Affairs Director, Mr. Yassen Guev presented the company’s green initiatives and best practices in the field of environmental sustainability.
