Bulgarian state-owned company Information Services said on Wednesday that it has awarded a 6.0 million levs ($3.6 million/3.1 million euro) contract to local company CNsys for the delivery of software and hardware equipment.

The deal was signed on August 18, Information Services said in a notice.

The supplies will be needed for an upgrade of the IT systems of the National Revenue Agency, the contracting authority said.

The public procurement procedure for awarding the contract has attracted offers from two candidates.

Sofia-based Information Services is a partner of the state institutions in the implementation of information and communication technology (ICT) projects.
