Bulgaria’s European Brokerage House is planning to launch operations in Spain without setting up a branch, according to a statement by Bulgaria’s Financial Supervision Commission. The FSC asked European Brokerage House to provide additional documents and information regarding its plans, the regulator said in a statement on Tuesday. Last month, the FSC expanded the license of European Brokerage House, allowing the brokerage to offer foreign exchange services, services relating to underwriting of issues of financial instruments and investment services in connection with the underlying instruments of derivative financial instruments, the regulator said in a statement. The expanded license also allows the brokerage to deal in financial instruments and underwrite issues of financial instruments on own account.
