Until November 30, users may visit any GLOBUL, GERMANOS and official partner shop and give their old phone for recycling in the special bins and get BGN 50 off the purchase of a new smartphone with a new two year subscription for any GLOBUL Web&Talk or GLOBUL United plan.
For example, users will have BGN 50 off when they purchase a new Alcatel One Touch S‘POP or Samsung Galaxy Y smartphone and get for only BGN 49 in cash or Huawei Ascend Y300 for BGN 99 лв. and Samsung Galaxy S II plus for BGN 189.
GLOBUL would also like to invite everyone to visit a company or official partner shop and deposit their old and unusable handsets and mobile accessories in the recycling bins (no purchase required) and assist us in our efforts in preservation of nature and resources.
The new GLOBUL campaign is part of the company’s long term GLOBUL Green sustainability strategy and aims to provide consumers with an environmentally friendly way to dispose of their old mobile handsets and accessories. All collected items will be transported, stored and processed by a licensed company, specialised in recycling of electronis waste. In 2012, GLOBUL and GERMANOS collected 2.4 tons of unusable mobile phones and accessories and since 2008 when GLOBUL Green was launched GLOBUL and GERMANOS had collected for recycling a total of 10 tons of electronic waste.
