For a second consecutive year GLOBUL supports the largest environmental education project in the country, the Green Olympics. The initiative is organized by the Academica BG educational portal and aims at boosting pupils’ knowledge about nature preservation.
This year's campaign, which is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Environment and Water and Enterprise for Management of the Environment Protection Activities (EMEPA), was opened at an official conference today.
Green Olympics will continue until December 3 and is open to all students from 1st to 12th grade. Participants will be divided into three age groups: elementary, middle and secondary school. They should register at http://zelenaolimpiada.bg/ and fill-in an online test with ten questions on environmental issues.
The winner in each age category will receive a special award from GLOBUL: iPod Nano music player, GLOBUL touch SE smartphone or Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 tablet. Participants who rank second and third will also win prizes.
