Dear Members of the Hellenic Business Council in Bulgaria,

As we convene for the 2025 General Assembly, I am pleased to address you on behalf of the Board of Directors and to share with you a brief overview of our activities, results, and vision for the future.
The year 2024 was marked by continuing challenges in our wider region, which also impacted our organization. Financially, the year closed with a slightly negative result—consistent with previous years—mainly due to a sharp decline in sponsorship revenues. This reflects broader market constraints and underlines the need for stronger engagement and collective support within our community.
Despite the limitations, we managed to deliver a number of quality events, although the calendar was somewhat limited due to the significantly increased costs of organization. For 2025, we aim to respond to this by adopting hybrid and digital formats where appropriate, allowing us to increase reach and visibility, while optimizing costs. We also intend to expand our collaboration with other business and cultural associations to create synergies and momentum.
It is more vital than ever for our members to be present and active. The Greek presence in Bulgaria is strong—in business, in culture, and in diplomacy. HBCB must continue to play a leading role in representing and connecting this presence. Your participation is crucial to that mission.
On behalf of the Board, I thank you for your continued support and trust, and I invite you to reflect on the results of 2024 and join us in shaping a stronger, more visible Council for the year ahead.
Warm regards,
Georgios Satlas
Chairman of the Board of Directors
Hellenic Business Council in Bulgaria
