During the traditional New Year’s party of the HBCB over 500 members and friends of the Hellenic Business Council in Bulgaria met at Sofia hotel Balkan on the 31st of January, 2017, to raise a toast to a successful and eventful year. This year’s event featured a festive program, Vasilopita cutting and a lot of exciting prizes.
The event was opened by the HBCB Chairman Mr. Stamatios Theodoropoulos, who welcomed the guests, thanked them for their commitment to the HBCB mission and the continuous support and wished them a Happy New Year, full of health, family peace and creativity. The HBCB chairman highlighted the last 11 years of the organization which were full of successes resulting from the support of the members of H.B.C.B. A congratulatory speech was made by His Excellency the Ambassador of Greece to Bulgaria, Mr. Grigorios Vassiloconstandakis. Official guest of the event was H.E. Mr. Stavros Avgoustides, Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus in Sofia.
The fabulous event was completed with a cocktail reception, the performances of the Greek musical band Epta Ogdoa, Vassilopita and many gifts.
