Postbank, in partnership with key stakeholders, is set to host a remarkable sporting spectacle featuring two of the most prominent names in international tennis — Grigor Dimitrov and Stefanos Tsitsipas.

Scheduled to take place on 12 June at the Arena 8888 Sofia, the event is expected to welcome an audience of nearly 12,000 spectators. The initiative will be held under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Iliana Iotova.

The exhibition match will be broadcast live on bTV, offering viewers a unique blend of world-class tennis and an impressive stage production.

This special event also marks an important milestone for Postbank, as the institution celebrates its 35th anniversary, sharing the occasion with its employees, clients and partners through a truly unique sporting spectacle.

Bringing together world-class tennis, a striking stage concept, a large-scale light show and a vibrant sporting atmosphere, the Postbank Tennis Gala is set to become one of the most memorable international sporting events of the year.

Adding a symbolic touch to the occasion, Grigor Dimitrov — a long-standing brand ambassador of Postbank — will also celebrate his 35th birthday in 2026, making the event even more special.

Both players have been among the most recognizable figures on the ATP Tour over the past decade. Grigor Dimitrov, a former World No. 3 and ATP Finals champion, is widely regarded for his elegant playing style. Stefanos Tsitsipas, a finalist at both Roland Garros and Australian Open, has consistently ranked among the world’s top players and remains one of the most dynamic personalities in modern tennis.

The two athletes share a well-established on-court rivalry, having faced each other multiple times at major tournaments, including ATP Masters 1000 events. Their most recent encounter took place in 2023 at the Paris Masters semifinals, making their upcoming match in Sofia highly anticipated by tennis fans.

Part of the proceeds from the event will support the Grigor Dimitrov Foundation, contributing to initiatives aimed at fostering the development of young talents. This commitment aligns closely with Postbank’s corporate philosophy, which places strong emphasis on supporting youth and investing in future generations.

Among the partners of the Postbank Tennis Gala are also А1, Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria, Mellon Bulgaria, Printec Group and Mundus Services — valued members of the HBCB community.

Ticket sales for a limited number of seats started on 4 May via Eventim.
