The Career Orientation Forum “What Do I Want to Become When I Grow Up?” will take place for the fourth consecutive year at Sofia Ring Mall, bringing together education and business in a dynamic and engaging format. The event will be held on March 28, 2026, from 11:00 to 18:00.

The initiative aims to strengthen the connection between education and business through an interactive “marketplace of professions”, encouraging the sharing of personal experience and the establishment of meaningful and long-term relationships between schools, universities, companies, entrepreneurs and freelancers, as well as the exchange of ideas and best practices.

In 2026, the forum expands its scope with the participation of schools and universities.

As part of the forum, a roundtable discussion titled “Diploma with Skills: Education–Business Partnership” was held on March 25, at 14:30 at Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (9 Iskar Street, Sofia). The discussion brought together representatives of institutions, businesses and the non-governmental sector, fostering a constructive dialogue on developing a modern, market-oriented education system and promoting a responsible and engaged approach of businesses towards the education and motivation of young people.

The previous three editions of the forum (2023, 2024 and 2025) have demonstrated growing interest, attracting hundreds of young people and parents. Participants had the opportunity to explore more than 50 professions through direct conversations and shared experiences, while business representatives showcased both traditional and emerging professions and offered training, internships, mentorship and career development opportunities.

Among the professions presented this year are Interior Designer, Service & Audit Specialist, Civil Engineer, Supermarket Manager, Photographer, HR Specialist and Savings & Investments Advisor.

A diverse range of companies from various sectors will participate in the forum, presenting a broad spectrum of professions and career opportunities.

Students will also have the opportunity to receive career guidance consultations at the stand of the Center for Personal Development Support – Career Guidance and Counseling.

In addition, the forum will present educational opportunities offered by leading institutions, including Vocational High School of Stone Processing – Kunino, Private Vocational High School of Banking, Trade and Finance – Sofia, PG “Dr. Stamen Grigorov” – Sofia, 56 Secondary School “Prof. K. Irechek” – Sofia, 105 Secondary School “Atanas Dalchev” – Sofia, and University of Library Studies and Information Technologies.

The forum is an initiative of the Foundation “For the Good Examples in Business”, implemented in partnership with the Entrepreneurship and Startup Council at Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sofia Ring Mall, the Regional Education Department – Sofia City, the “Dual Education in Bulgaria” project and others.
