Bulgaria Air extends suspension of flights to Cyprus

Flag carrier Bulgaria Air said that it has extended the suspension of its flights from Sofia to Cyprus until April 30 due to the measures adopted by local authorities aimed at stopping the spread of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).The ban on flights from other EU countries to Cyprus was first introduced on March 21, Bulgaria Air said in a statement on Monday.The carrier has also suspended flights to Israel’s Tel Aviv, Italy’s Rome and Milano, and Russia’s Moscow until April 30.Bulgaria Air currently continues to service flights to the majority of its direct destinations at temporarily reduced frequencies.
