Bulgarian state-owned gas transmission system operator Bulgartransgaz said on Monday that it has halted transmission of natural gas to Greece after a failure of the pipeline some 200 metres upstream the valve at the Kulata/Sidirokastron exit. No one has been injured in the accident, Bulgartransgaz said in a statement. “The section has been cut off and all actions required for the urgent repair works and restoration of the natural gas transport to Greece have been made,” it added.
