The Bulgarian Development Bank (BDB) said that it has approved requests for loan guarantees and interest-free loans worth a total of 268 million levs ($167 million/137 million euro) under its two measures for supporting the economy during the pandemic.
The BDB has guaranteed loans of over 1,200 small and medium-sized enterprises, worth a total of 158 million levs, the BDB said in a statement on Tuesday.
The state-owned lender has also approved the applications of 26,221 physical persons for interest-free loans worth a total of 110 million levs, it said.
The application deadline of both programmes is June 2020.
