Bulgaria’s gross domestic product is expected to reach its levels before the coronavirus pandemic in the second half of 2022, local lender UniCredit Bulbank forecasted.
Bulgaria’s economy is expected to expand by 2.5% in 2021, followed by growth in the 4-5% range in 2022 and 2023, UniCredit Bulbank said in a statement, published on Tuesday.
The country’s labour market is forecast to fully recover within 3.5 years, according to UniCredit Bulbank.
